I have the basic, $29/month, they provide a domain, but I didn't choose one just to prevent any extra loads and potential security risks to the system. They have tutorials, but you will need some computer knowledge and patience. (Then again, if you set up fapturbo and MT4, this may not be too hard for you, if you had trouble, then this might not be a good solution, but not sure what VPS would be as they all require similar skill sets). Just have patience and read the tutorials and manuals.
In comparison, ForexHoster's entire website and support disappeared for 3 days in the beginning of December, not the type of reliability I'm looking for when it comes to my money, hence the 1and1 solution. Again, just my experience.
Did I mention 1and1 also setup me up in 2 hrs! That's right from the time I submitted my request to the time I had access. They also seem to have a great redundant data center.
